How it works

Deep below the skin. Real results on the surface.

Ultherapy PRIME® delivers precise ultrasound energy to the foundational layers of your skin — where collagen is formed.

Cross-section illustration of the skin showing focused ultrasound energy passing through the surface layers and converging in the deep foundational layer
The energy passes through the surface untouched and focuses at depth — which is why there is no wound to heal and no downtime to plan around.

Areas she treats

These are examples — Ultherapy PRIME® can be customized to many combinations depending on your concerns: brow, upper face, lower face, jawline, under-chin, neck and décolletage.

Meet your specialist

Victoria Fedin

Merz-certified Ultherapy® specialist · 10+ years, one treatment, her hands only

The North Shore's dedicated Ultherapy specialist.

I was among the first providers in Chicago to offer Ultherapy, more than a decade ago. I trained for Ultherapy® directly with Merz Aesthetics — the company that makes the technology — and I have been refining it over thousands of hours behind the transducer ever since. It is the only treatment I perform, and every one here is done by my hands — not a technician's.

I was born in Ukraine — in what was then part of the Soviet Union, where every child learned Russian alongside their mother tongue. That inheritance is why I can sit with a patient in English, Ukrainian, or Russian and hear what she actually means, not just what she says. For many of the women I see, being spoken to in their own words is what makes the room feel safe.

I only treat what will actually respond. If it won't, I say so. — V.

If Ultherapy isn't right for your skin, I'll tell you at your consultation and send you home. No pitch. That's why my patients send their friends and family.

Two generations

I don't just perform this treatment. It's been my own routine for ten years.

I mentioned at the top of this page that keeping skin youthful is my family's craft. Here's what that means.

Every year, I treat my own face with the same system my patients lie down under. I have for a decade. So does my mother — we're both in this profession, and Ultherapy® is the one treatment we've never skipped.

People assume good genes, and yes, genes played their part. But genes don't keep skin dense and lifted decade after decade — maintenance does.

When patients ask why my skin looks the way it does, the honest answer isn't a cream or a filter. It's the treatment in the next room. You're not buying a promise from me. You're looking at the results.

Two generations, one routine. — V.

The offer

The Free 20-Minute Consultation

See exactly what Victoria would treat — and what it would cost — before you spend a dollar. Twenty minutes with Victoria, not a coordinator, not a sales consultant.

  • A real laxity assessment — depth and pattern, not a skin scan$150 value

Victoria examines how deep the looseness goes in your face and neck, and where it started.

  • You see it, and you feel it

Her system images your tissue layers live, so you watch the exact structural layer she would treat — the same layer a surgeon lifts. Then one test pulse on your skin, so 'does it hurt?' is answered in the room instead of on the internet.

  • Your treatment map and your exact all-in price$200 value

A marked photo showing precisely where she'd place energy and where she wouldn't waste yours — with one number in writing. No 'starting at,' no add-ons on treatment day.

  • Before-and-afters from patients like you$100 value

Your age, your skin type, your laxity pattern. Not brochure models.

Total value: $450 · Your price today: $0

Plus the Founding Patient credit: book a treatment within 7 days of your consultation and receive $300 toward any treatment of $2,500+.

For ten years her calendar filled by word of mouth alone; this is the first time it has been open to the public. The credit ends when it fills.

The Visible-Lift Commitment

Victoria doesn't treat everyone. If your skin won't genuinely respond, she declines and tells you why — and that's exactly what lets her promise this: if she accepts you and you don't see a visible lift at your included 90-day photo review, your next treatment area is on us.

While you decide

The face you'd want back is the face you have right now.

In three years, the softness at your jaw will be a little more than softness. The women who look best at 55 aren't the ones who did the most — they're the ones who started while there was still something to protect.

You will never be younger than you are today. Start there.

If this sounds familiar

You saw the photo. The one where your jawline wasn't where it used to be.

Maybe it was a group photo. Maybe it was a video call, catching your own reflection in the corner of the screen. Nothing about your face changed overnight — but the softness along the jaw, the loose skin at the neck, the brow sitting a little heavier: you can see it now, and you can't unsee it. For most women it starts quietly in their early forties — and the earlier it's treated, the more there is to save.

Nobody wakes up wanting a facelift. They wake up wanting their own face back. — V.

The $200 creams

They work on the surface. The sagging you're seeing starts deeper than that.

Botox and filler

Botox relaxed the lines. Filler added volume. Neither one lifted anything.

And a facelift is off the table. Going under anesthesia. Six weeks of hiding. $20,000-plus. The risk of looking "done." That was never you.

So you're stuck between doing nothing and doing something drastic. There has always been a third option — Ultherapy® — most women just haven't had it explained to them honestly.

Lifted, never altered.

Why nothing else worked

Everything you've tried treated the wrong layer.

About 4.5 millimeters under your skin there's a structural layer called the SMAS — the sheet of tissue that actually holds your face up. When it loosens, your jawline softens and your neck follows. Creams, facials, Botox and filler all work above it.

The SMAS is the layer a surgeon lifts in a facelift. Ultherapy® is the only non-surgical, FDA-cleared treatment that reaches it — and the only one where your provider watches that layer live on an ultrasound screen while treating it. Most other ultrasound (HIFU) devices treat blind: no real-time imaging, so the energy lands where the settings guess it will, not where the tissue actually is.

I don't guess where the layer is. I look at it, then I treat it. — V.

The third option

The same lifting layer a facelift targets. A fraction of the cost. Back to dinner the same night.

It's called Ultherapy®. It uses focused ultrasound — sound energy, not needles and not a laser — to reach the deep foundation layer of your skin and trigger your own collagen to rebuild. It's FDA-cleared to lift the brow, the area under the chin, and the neck, and to improve lines on the décolletage. The cheaper HIFU machines you've seen advertised fire without real-time imaging and usually at one fixed depth. The authentic PRIME® system shows the tissue live and treats several depths including the SMAS — which is why one session tends to produce a structural change instead of a package of maintenance sessions.

FDA-cleared for lifting — brow, chin, neck & décolletageNo incisions · No anesthesia · No downtime

The outcome

Not a different face — your face, with its structure back. As new collagen rebuilds the layer underneath, the jawline re-draws itself and the neck smooths. Patients don't say 'I look done.' They say 'I look rested.'

How fast

One visit, 60–90 minutes. Some tightening is visible right away; the real lift builds over 2–3 months, and results typically last a year or more.

How easy

No needles, no cutting, no anesthesia, no downtime. Straight from your appointment to dinner.

Why it works when creams didn't

Focused ultrasound passes through the surface untouched and deposits heat in the deep support layer — the same layer a surgeon tightens. Your body answers by building new collagen there. On the newest-generation PRIME system, clinical studies put average discomfort at roughly 3 out of 10.

Lost the weight?

You lost the weight. Your jawline paid for it.

Rapid weight loss — including on GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro or Zepbound — deflates the face and neck faster than skin can shrink to match: new looseness at the jaw, neck, and under-chin that wasn't there a year ago. That deflation laxity is exactly what Ultherapy® treats — it rebuilds collagen in the deflated support layer so skin re-drapes to your new shape.

Mention your weight-loss timeline at your consultation — it changes how Victoria maps your treatment.

I began seeing Victoria in my mid-30s when my jawline first started softening. Ultherapy with her is the best way to look naturally younger and healthier without surgery. Friends noticed a big change and a few of them are now her patients too.

Straight answers

The questions women actually ask in the room.

Does it hurt?

+

You feel deep warmth and a brief prickling each time energy fires; it passes in seconds and there's nothing to feel afterward. The pain reputation came from the first-generation machine — clinical studies put average discomfort on the PRIME platform at roughly 3 out of 10, and numbing options are available. At your free consultation she gives you one test pulse, so you answer this in the room.

I've heard Ultherapy® can make your face look gaunt — is that true?

+

Authentic Ultherapy® fires in millisecond pulses — far too brief to create the sustained heat that damages fat. Those stories trace back to knockoff 'HIFU' machines that fire blind with no imaging, and to operators stacking pulses in one spot. Victoria watches your tissue layers live on the ultrasound screen the entire time, so energy goes into the structural layer, never guessed.

How much does it cost?

+

Published, no games: Full Face $3,500 · Full Face + Lower Neck $4,500 (the Signature Lift, most chosen) · Face + Neck + Chest $5,000. Smaller areas: Brow & Eye Lift from $500, Lower Face $2,500, Full Neck $2,000, Chest $1,500, Body from $2,000. Your consultation gives you one exact number in writing.

How long do results last?

+

Some tightening is visible right away; the real lift builds over 2–3 months as your collagen rebuilds, and results typically last a year or more. Your skin keeps aging on its own schedule, so many patients return for a single annual booster ($500 for existing patients).

How is this different from Botox or filler?

+

Botox relaxes muscles so lines soften; filler adds volume where you've lost it. Neither one lifts — that isn't their job. Ultherapy tightens the deep support layer so the tissue itself sits higher, with nothing injected and nothing added.

How is it different from a facelift?

+

A facelift cuts, removes skin and repositions tissue — $20,000 and up, general anesthesia, roughly six weeks before you feel presentable. Ultherapy reaches the same deep lifting layer without a single incision, and you go about your evening. It won't match surgery on skin that has gone fully slack, but for skin that has begun to soften it does quietly what most women assumed only a scalpel could.

Am I too old or too young for this?

+

Ultherapy responds best when laxity is early-to-moderate — typically mid-30s through 50s. Later results can still be meaningful, but Victoria will say honestly if you'd do better with a combination plan or a surgeon. The best time to treat sagging is when it's just beginning.

Is it safe?

+

It's FDA-cleared to lift the brow, under the chin and the neck, and to improve lines on the décolletage. It uses ultrasound — the same category of energy used in diagnostic imaging for decades — and it doesn't break the skin, so there's no wound and no infection risk. Safety comes down to the hands holding the device: 10+ years and thousands of hours behind the transducer doing only this.

Will I look fake or "done"?

+

You can't look overfilled from a treatment that adds nothing — there's no product, no volume, no frozen muscle. The lift appears gradually over weeks, which is exactly why it reads as natural. Friends tend to say you look rested, or ask what you did with your hair.

How soon can I go back to work?

+

Immediately — no recovery, no bandages, nothing to hide. Makeup, the gym, and your dinner plans are all fine the same day. Some patients have mild tenderness to the touch for a few days.

Is this the real Ultherapy®?

+

Yes — authentic, FDA-cleared Ultherapy® PRIME® by Merz Aesthetics, with live ultrasound visualization. Knockoff 'HIFU' devices are easy to spot: no imaging screen, no Merz certification, and a price far below published Ultherapy pricing. Those machines fire blind, which is where most frightening stories online come from.

I lost a lot of weight — can this fix the loose skin?

+

Often, yes. Rapid weight loss, including on GLP-1 medications, deflates the face faster than skin can shrink to match, and that deflation laxity is exactly what focused ultrasound treats. How much it can do depends on how much looseness there is — mention your weight-loss timeline and Victoria maps it at your consultation.

I've had a facelift — is this still for me?

+

Yes — post-facelift patients are some of Victoria's most regular maintenance visitors. Your surgeon rebuilt the foundation; Ultherapy stimulates fresh collagen in that same layer to help protect the result. She'll map a maintenance plan around your surgical history at your consultation.

Why do prices vary by treatment area?

+

Treatment is measured in precise lines of ultrasound energy, and a jawline needs a different number of lines than a full neck. More area and more laxity means more lines, more time, more cost. That's why your consultation quote is calculated for your face — and it's the number you pay.

How do I book?

+

You call or text — no online scheduler, no forms. The office answers, asks what's bothering you, and finds you a 20-minute consultation slot, usually the same week. Hours are Mon–Thu 9–6 and Fri 9–4; after hours, text and we reply first thing.
